CLASS XXII PROJECTS:
The LSCC Board met and received the recommendations of the Program Committee they are very impressed with all 9 of the project proposals. They originally felt that they wanted to support two or three proposals and actually went for five (5); everyone felt bad about cutting back on any of the projects because they all were very appropriate. Their final decision was based on the quality of the proposal and the number of volunteers who signed up to accomplish the project. The following are the five they supported.

CLASS XXI PROJECT: Little Green Book
The Green Team of Class 21 was charged with working on developing a success plan for Leadership Santa Cruz County (LSCC) and expanding on the project work from Class 20. Our discussions resulted in many viable project ideas for the improvement of LSCC, which are listed at the end of this booklet, but we were unable to bring any of them to fruition.
What happened to our group? Upon reflection, certain group facilitation principles were not employed early enough, resulting in a lack of task-driven process (such as, electing a chair person, facilitator, note taker, time keeper, structured brainstorming and consensus-building process).
On our quest to identify a green team project we discovered the need to develop a project management guide to assist us and future Leadership Santa Cruz County Project Teams with their assigned tasks.
Thus, Class 21 Green Team reached consensus on developing a project process booklet “The Little Green Book”, which we hope will serve to support future team projects. We recommend that this booklet be distributed to all future class participants along with the “Little Yellow Book” developed by Class 20.
We are thankful for the opportunity to give back in some small way to Leadership Santa Cruz County and hope that our
contribution will be of some help in the continual effort to improve the organization.
Enjoy!
